Welcome

Thank you for your interest in St Mary’s Bluecoat Church of England Primary School. St Mary’s is a thriving school which opened on its current site in 1963. We take our name from the majestic St Mary Magdalene church, built by Thomas Telford, which stands proudly overlooking the beautiful riverside town of Bridgnorth. Our links with the church began in our origins when the school was run by the clergy, and we remain today a voluntary aided Church of England school. Our Christian ethos remains at the centre of our school community.

Strong leadership team. If you have a problem and speak to senior staff it is dealt with by experienced, supportive and caring staff. Teachers that listen and try to help. Good sized classrooms and facilities.
